They are both very easy-going, which made the entire communication process smooth and stress-free. Whenever we had ideas or questions, they were always willing to listen attentively and provide practical solutions instead of just brief responses. They also generously shared their professional opinions, helping us clearly understand the pros and cons of each option. They never pushed us into decisions that were not suitable for us. Instead, they helped us filter and compare choices, allowing us to better understand what works well and what may not suit our needs. They didn’t just design based on trends, but truly guided us to make decisions that suit our lifestyle and daily living needs. Throughout the entire project, they also provided regular updates, so we were always aware of the progress. Like any renovation, there were challenges and unexpected changes along the way, but with their professionalism and strong coordination, everything was handled and resolved smoothly, which gave us great peace of mind. We would also like to thank Brian, who occasionally came for site visits and provided very helpful suggestions that further improved the overall design and details. Even after handover, they are still responsive and willing to assist when we have small follow-up questions. Now that we have been living in our new home for a few months, my family and I are truly very comfortable. The lighting design, spatial planning, and overall atmosphere were all done exceptionally well. After a long day at work, coming home feels incredibly relaxing and helps us fully unwind from daily stress. On weekends, we especially enjoy staying at home—watching TV, cooking, and simply enjoying our space. It truly feels like a home that reflects who we are, and one that we look forward to coming back to every day. I had a very positive experience working with my interior designer, Jerald from Chapter 13. He is responsible, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire renovation process. We would like to recommend Jerald Tew from Chapter 13 to anyone who are looking for Interior Design. He was introducing by our friend as he is patient, responsive, easy going, helpful and provided expert opinions work within our budget. It quite pleasure and lucky work with him because he able to coordinate well with contractors. He also brings and recommends us for suppliers like lighting, fans, curtains and furniture. He always replies my messages due to all my requests/enquiries even not during office hours. Even we disturb him during his vacation, he understands what we need. His service quite prompt ever after one year or more. The final outcome was great as the 3D designs; their carpentry is excellent too.

I recently engaged Chapter 13 for the renovation and interior design of my 3-bedroom plus study room condo, and I’m very pleased with how everything turned out. The job was led by Bernard, with strong support from Francis, who also doubled up as the electrician. The renovation scope was quite extensive, including hacking of all flooring and full cabinetry works across the rooms, living area, kitchen, and toilets. Despite the scale, the team managed the project well and delivered a cohesive result. We went with a wabi-sabi theme, and the designers did a great job bringing it to life. They were very open to working with my ideas, while also contributing thoughtful design inputs of their own. Some standout suggestions included a reduced drop ceiling that made the hall feel taller while eliminating the need for an aircon drop ceiling cut-out, as well as concealed doors that blended seamlessly into the space—both of which turned out to be excellent additions. The final result is both beautiful and practical, striking a nice balance between aesthetics and everyday functionality. There were a few small mistakes along the way, but what really stood out was their responsiveness—whenever issues were raised, Bernard and Francis rectified them promptly. Even after half a year of moving in, they continued to follow up and address any outstanding matters, which speaks volumes about their commitment and after-sales service. Overall, the job was well done, and I would confidently recommend Chapter 13 to anyone looking for a reliable and collaborative interior design team.
